I Was Nearly Toast !!
#1
I narrowly missed a major wreck as it was unfolding. My FJR vs two semi's going sideways into my lane.

The car behind me nearly collided with the little red pickup as the pickup was knocked off the road and onto its side.

All involved are pretty much ok, as far as I know. I stayed in touch with the pickup driver, and sent him the video.

Here's the rear cam:

EDIT:  Here is a better version that I put together with a video editor app:

WOW! I had a dump truck, two weeks ago, that slid beside me, into the shoulder lane on the interstate. I saw him and ALMOST went to the shoulder because he wasn't slowing down (I was in a slow moving lane exiting the interstate). He came to a stop beside the car in front of me. He would have sent me into that car in front probably into the front seat. UGH! People suck!!

Glad you are OK!

I know you've had some close calls and some run-ins with junk in the road.  Ever consider adding a Camera system?  I'm planning to do a write-up on mine here on this forum.  I've caught some amazing stuff on it and haven't had it much more than a year.

That is my biggest fear.  Even bigger than a a deer (or whatever) running out in to the road.  I feel that if I am moving, there is a chance that I can avoid or reduce the effects of a wreck.
But to be sitting in traffic and be struck from behind... not much you can do.  Sure, we try to watch our 6:00, but with so much else to focus on, we can't wee everything.

Not just from the back, either.  I almost got nailed from the front while I was in "sitting duck mode".  I didn't know which way to go, so I sat there and waved my yellow and black sleeves and gloves in the air to get his attention.  Thankfully, that worked.  Dodgy
