My youngest son was commuting to college on the Cat for a semester and grew quite fond of it. Well, he was always jazzed by the Cat, but he grew in size and skill enough for it to become his when I decided to follow my dream of owning an FJR1300.
So, the bike is still in my stable. It's just not mine anymore. It needs a few parts swapped out, but we lost track of the box that all the parts are in. But that's a whole 'nother story.
So there is still plenty of interest in the YZF around here. I am still active in the group that meets at Deal's Gap each year. I'm not going anywhere just because I ride a scaled up version of the Cat.
