Track Day Aug. 30th at Pacific Raceways
#1
A couple friends and I have decided to sign up for the 100 level 2 Fast performance school at Pacific Raceway on Weds. Aug. 30th. This Performance School will help you become a better rider. Taught by some of the best riders and racers the NW has to offer, they focus on giving race proven techniques for you to take back to the street to help you become a Smoother, Smarter, Safer and ultimately Faster rider with more confidence and control than before.

This is an all day class and it costs $249. I thought it would be cool Cool if there were a bunch of us Cat riders out there. Anyways, I already signed up and was just wondering if any Pacific Northwest riders wanted to join in the fun. BTW the spots are filling up fast. Check out the link.

Cool...I'm glad someone from the forum is gonna make it out. I've never been out to trackday before, so I'm pretty excited. I have a friend that has an R6 and another friend that has a 675 that are also coming out. I guess we're planning on renting a trailer to bring our bikes out there. We should try to hook up and ride before then.

Let's get a trailer that holds 4 bikes lol. I've got a 4Runner if you need a tow vehicle. I post up pretty much everytime I go for a ride, but I get few responses Dunno

We could do that. We have plenty of time to plan for that day. My friend with the 675 has done a few track days in california. He suggested the trailer. Yeah so next time you ride I'll try to make it out. I just started riding in March so I really don't know where ride around here. It sounds like you know where to go.

2-fast is a pretty good for the first time at the track especially if you pay the extra money for the classroom sessions. Otherwise NESBA is the way to go especially once you gain a little more skill and move into Intermediate.

I find that NESBAs on track structure is so much better than 2-fasts. NESBA has strict rules about passing control riders and the break you into many small groups. 2-fast is just very random if you will actually get any on track instruction.

The biggest issue with 2-fast is that you can sign up for any level you want (I even saw a first time track person signup for Expert just because they had a busa (2-fast did move them down after all of the racers complained about him). This creates issues with beginner riders getting mixed in with (real) intermediate riders. NESBA you have to start in Beginner and then get checked out for the faster groups.

Eric, I haven't been on here for awhile. I just got done doing my yearly charity bicycle ride for the Mary Bridge Childrens Hospital. www.courageclassic.com. Anyways, I work until 6:30pm everyday. I'm working this Saturday as well. If you want to ride on Sunday I'm free.

Eric...We got a trailer hooked up. It's a 6x12 trailer that will hold four bikes. My friend Bennie is picking up some tie downs and tanks for gas. He's also bring his tools.
