Tire wear checking:

Step 1: Look at the tire.

Step 2. If it is fubar, replace it ;P

These are shot rear tires.

This is a shot front tire. But the picture doesn't do it justice, the balding areas were acutally concave. Without air the tire, it folded in those places if you pushed on them.
